- Build-out density of the affected area
- Outdoor weather conditions
Low-evaporation materials absorb and transmit water slowly because of low porosity. Plaster, wood, masonry, concrete.
Low-evaporation assemblies are complex, built-up systems. Gym floors, multi-layer wallboard and subfloors.
Effective drying on these may involve
- Increasing the material temperature
- Reducing ambient humidity
- Slowing airflow velocity to get an optimal vapour pressure differential
