A restorer’s inspection kit should include:
- Personal PPE kit
- Thermo-hygrometer
- Moisture meters, invasive and non-invasive
- Borescope
- IR camera
- Laser thermometer
- LED torch
- Carpet awl and carpet knee kicker
- Napping shears
- Burn test kit (lighter, tweezers, mixing jug)
- Laser measure
- Camera
- Appropriate paperwork
- Duct tape and painter’s tape
- Toolbox with power battery and tools
- Hex and Allen keys
- Razor blade and knife
- Business cards and pens
