Managing Risk on Site

Air movers have vent guards on both the intake and outlet sides for safety. If a guard is damaged or removed, the air mover comes out of service immediately and the guard is replaced with a new one.

Keeping them working

Dust and carpet debris build up on the intake vents and the motor fan blades, which drags down performance. Regular cleaning of the intake vents is essential.

• Use warm soapy water, or follow the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• For a thorough clean, remove the intake vents.
• Once the vent is off and cleaned, controlled dry compressed air can be used to blow remaining debris off the blades.
