Working with heat
Dehumidifiers and heaters are heat-producing equipment. Two things to weigh:
- Effect on the building. Consider what high temperatures do to the structure and the contents.
- Combustion by-products. If you’re using heating equipment that produces them, monitor the air space for carbon monoxide, or use a less risky alternative.
